The Nada India Foundation, New Delhi in Collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla organized One Day State Consultation Workshop on 27 th October 2023 in the Conference Hall of the Department of Laws, Himachal Pradesh. In this State Consultation Workshop more than 60 delegates actively participated. In this State Consultation Workshop the theme was on “Strengthening Tobacco Control Laws in Himachal”. In this the State Consultation Workshop the dignitaries were from Delhi, Haryana, Himachal, Punjab were the main speakers. Among young participants the scholars were from Faculty of Law, Social work, Sociology, Public administration have taken active participation in this workshop. Young India Network is a youth (14-30 years) driven network for the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and its risk factors, formed with a vision of having a meaningful involvement of youth and People Living With NCDs in the advocacy of health agenda in India with a primary focus on alcohol and drug use as major risk factors for both communicable and NCDs.
