This was a major concerns shared by health professionals, civil society and government officials at a consultation on “Alcohol Control: Public Health Perspective – moving forward towards a comprehensive National alcohol control policy”, organised by the Public Health Foundation of India ( PHFI ) in collaboration with the Union Health Ministry. In India, alcohol is a state subject and states and union territories have the power to frame policies and guidelines on issues relating to movement, possession, marketing, availability, consumption, sale and state excise rates of alcohol. Bal-Pehchaan Radio club Balbhawan Mandi village children visited All India Radio Delhi station Ration Akashvani Bhawan New Delhi

Nada India has been running a Bal Pehchaan Radio club in partnership with Balbhawa Mandi village Delhi  for the last one year. In order to give the children an understanding of operation of Radio station functioning, Nada India & Balbhawan Mandi organized an exposure visit to Delhi station on 23rd June at 11am.  These children also prepared some songs, poems and stories were recorded for  children program on radio. The visit  helped these children in gaining in-depth understanding and knowledge about radio functioning and its related operations.  Sh.Laxmi Shanker   Bajpai , Radio club members in the recording studio of All India Radio  Station Director,  All  India  Radio met and spent time more than one hour with children and answered the queries about radio production ,radio as career. Mr.Suneel ,Pallavi and Mr.Sanjeev and Parveen Bali accompanied the children.

Nada India was reaching out to young people by organizing a series of artistic events with the slogan “Do drugs control your creativity and family?” The campaign's goal was to inspire children, adolescents, women and senior citizens to support drug prevention.
