Youth Incharge – Students’ Forum | 13th Indian Social Work Conference 2025 Centurion University, Bhubaneswar It was an inspiring interaction with young social work students during the Youth Incharge: Harnessing Technology for Empowerment & Change session at the 13th Indian Social Work Conference. The session was joined by fellow NAPSWI Executive Members — Prof.Anish (Kerala), Prof.Keshav, Prof. Suresh Pathare (Maharashtra), Prof. Anup (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), and Dr. Nalini (Puducherry). Students were briefed about NAPSWI’s mission and actively engaged with questions about social work placements, scope, and professional growth. Young India Network is a youth (14-30 years) driven network for the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and its risk factors, formed with a vision of having a meaningful involvement of youth and People Living With NCDs in the advocacy of health agenda in India with a primary focus on alcohol and drug use as major risk factors for both communicable and NCDs. It aims to contribute in achieving the Goal 3 of Sustainable Development Goals,ensuring healthy lives .
