....This shift in narrative is important: it reflects the world we want — where young professionals are trusted for their sensitivity and fresh perspective , and where treatment begins with trust, compassion, and dignity , not fear or coercion.... World Mental Health Day– October 10, 2025 Recently, the leadership of Nada India Foundation met actor Amol Parashar in Delhi. We appreciated his courage in taking on socially responsive roles in web series such as Gram Chikitsalay and the live performance Besharam Aadmi . These performances stood out because they did not shy away from difficult truths — about stigma, dignity, and the shift from inner monologues of silence to open dialogues about the everyday realities of mental health. But while art can inspire, the reality we face as young people today is heartbreaking. According to NCRB data , student suicides in India have risen by 34% in 2023 compared to 2019 . Behind these numbers are not just statistics but ...
Young India Network for Good Health 2025: Listening Deeply. 2026: Walking Forward—Together. As we close the pages of 2025 and lean into the promise of 2026, one truth stands steady: when young people are trusted, communities breathe easier. This year belonged to youth voices—adolescents finding language for their feelings, students choosing courage over silence, and young leaders creating spaces where they belong. To every young person who stayed, spoke up, stumbled, learned, and returned— thank you . You didn’t just join a program; you co-created safe, honest spaces for well-being. The Year Youth Led the Way 2025 was dedicated to the journeys that don’t come with neat maps. We celebrated role models who walk with integrity and heart— Monica Menon , Nada Good Health Ambassador, for showing how sport, discipline, and mental strength can shape healthier lives; and Hiral , whose consistency, commitment, and confidence remind us that growth is rarely tidy—and that’s okay...
