अजय ने बताया कि डब्ल्यूएचओ की तरफ से 75% तक का सेस तंबाकू उत्पादों पर लगाया जा सकता है जोकि बीडी पर 22% सिगरेट पर 52% है इस सेस को 75% कर दिया जाए


 

धर्मशाला के रीजनल सेंटर में नाडा इंडिया  फाउंडेशन द्वारा   युवा संसद का आयोजन किया गया जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को नशे से दूर रख कर तंबाकू उत्पादकों पर  कर्ज वृद्धि करना  है कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता मेंबर ऑफ पार्लिमेंट हिमाचल प्रदेश किशन कपूर द्वारा की गई   युवा संसद का मुख्य उद्देश्य तंबाकू करो में वृद्धि करना वह सेंट्रल कमेटी फाइनेंस मैं किस प्रकार तंबाकू करो मैं बढ़ोतरी की जाती है उस विषय पर चर्चा की गई आगामी बजट सेशन मैं किस प्रकार तंबाकू उत्पादों पर कर वृद्धि को मुख्य रूप से रखा जाए उस पर विचार विमर्श किया गया 

युवा संसद कार्यक्रम में प्रथम स्थान पर रहने वाली भाविका ने कहा की एक युवा होने के नाते हमारा यह कर्तव्य बनता है कि इसकी पहल हम अपने घर से करें और साथ में जीएसटी काउंसिल के माध्यम से भी कर वृद्धि के लिए अपने सुझाव हम देंगे
